MPS Sul 2025 Symposium promotes exchange of knowledge between doctors and families in RS

From November 28th to 30th, 2025, Porto Alegre will be the stage for the MPS Sul Symposium, a meeting that promises to unite science, health and hospitality around the rare diseases of the Mucopolysaccharidoses (MPS) group.

The program highlights the participation of Dr. Hernan Amartino, from Argentina, an international reference in this area, as well as doctors, researchers and representatives from partner institutions.

The event begins on the evening of November 28th, with an opening table and welcome dinner. On the 29th, the agenda includes lectures on quality of life, genetic risks, ongoing research and practical workshops on topics such as pain, exercise and carpal tunnel syndrome. In the evening, there will be the traditional celebration dinner.

The closing, on November 30th, will be marked by a mobilization event at Parque Farroupilha, after breakfast and check-out of participants.

The MPS Sul Symposium establishes itself as an essential space for exchanging experiences, learning and engagement, bringing together health professionals, families and institutions in support of the MPS cause.
